The date of your English test is the date that you are assessed for meeting or not meeting your English Requirement. So it is fine as long as you meet the required level.
485 English Requirement
Hi All,
I am on my student visa (500) and will be applying for my 485 Visa after i obtain my IELTS results.
My Student visa expires on the 20 Feb, My ielts test is on the 15 feb.
The issue I have is that , as i understand it the English is at the time of lodgement requirement.
I dont think the IELTS results will be issued before the 20 Feb (But the Assessment will technically be done already). Will this be an issue? There is a PTE test on the 18 Feb that I can sit but would it be necessary to burn my IELTS fees?
