Hi Guys,

I need a advise my 485 visa was refused last year Feb 2018. on the basis of health insurance, when i applied 485 visa i have a both insurance my student health insurance as well as my 485 visa insurance but at the time visa submission my agent didn't my insurance and it got refused. i make a review in AAT also they also Refused now my case is in Federal Circuit Court. Just want to know how is the possibility of winning this case and how long FCC take time to review the case? Is there is any chance of getting any visa like student visa ? How can i applied for other visa . Can you please suggest me ? Look for similar advise.

It happens all too often that 485 applicants satisfy a particular criterion, but evidence of this does not accompany the application, leading to a visa refusal.

As matters stand,to apply for a further visa, other than a protection visa, you would have to depart Australia.

I suggest that you follow the advice of your representative in the court matter and direct your questions to your representative.

You're not kidding. The 485 visa must be the most refused visa around for the very basic failure to provide the required documentation up front. Most of the refusals I have seen were totally preventable and would not have happened if the application had been handl
ed by a competent Registered Migration Agent.

As for the OP's question, any answer on timeframes and outcomes of a pending court case would be pure speculation.

Hi , I need you advice. I’ve completed a 2 years associate degree of applied engineering from TAFE NSW. And have got a positive skill assessment for civil engineering technician occupation. I applied for my 485 visa and got rejected today saying that the study requirements does not comply and is not falling under regulation as a recognised qualification. Should I go for a review?
