Hey guys,

Interesting topic i've got here. I want to apply for the Skilled – Regional Sponsored (Provisional) visa (subclass 487) which stipulates that the family members who are sponsoring have to be either one of:

* a non-dependent child – including a stepchild
* a parent – including a step-parent
* a brother or sister – including a step-sibling
* a niece or nephew – including a step-niece or nephew
* an aunt or uncle – including a step-aunt or uncle
* a first cousin
* a grandchild.

Now i have a first cousin who is willing to be my sponsor. But the issue here is technically (after looking on a family chart) she is a first cousin-once removed. In other words she is my grand-aunt's daughter or my parent's first cousin. Would that be an issue when applying for the above visa? Would appreciate if someone can give their insights on this matter.
