Deal All.
This is Viet, a carpenter from Vietnam. just did the skill assessment with TRA. have 50 points.
My visa will run out in 03-2018. I am about to apply 489 nominated by adelaide. But my Sister,a PR living in Melbourne,I prefer to apply through family 489 but I don't know If it take longer time to get invitation for being a carpenter?

I wonder if I could Lodge both 489 through family and Adelaide at the same time. and wait what ever come first, then apply visa?
Any suggestions and ideas for my case will be appreciated.

You can lodge both. It is likely the State Sponsored one will progress faster once you get your invitation.
