For the family sponsored visit visa, how important it is for the candidate to have a job?
He lives in a high risk country. He lived, studied and work here for 4 years, went back before visa expire. He has significant amount of money in his bank for 3 years. But he does not have a job.

I also know that I might be asked for a bond, which I am happy to pay.
Does anyone have any experience of refusal for not having a job in the origin country?

Yes, I have had that experience for one of my client's some time ago. I have also heard of recent cases from India. Unfortunately the Department assessed the Family Sponsored Stream similarly to the Tourist Stream. The application will need to emphasise the candidate's ties to his home country other than work.
