Health check

Hi all,
I'm just wondering if you would recommend to do a health check at this stage.
I applied for student visa 573 and undertook blood test, Xray and general exams (blood pressure etc.) in March 2015 and has refered the HAP ID to my current application for temporary partner visa 820 as the results is valid for 12 months.

Would you recommend to do another health check specifically for the partner temporary visa at this stage? (I'm not sure if the requirements are quite different). I don't know if it's worth taking another health check or waiting for the CO to contact me if the waiting time is too long which could lead to expired results.
Thanks in advance.

Hope you realise a decision can take more than 12 months, by which time your medical checks will expire and need to be redone if you did them before appyling or even at about the time of applying?

Hopefully you'll be contacted soon. Sometimes adding new evidence draws attention to your file, so you could try that. :)

Is that 13 months after 820 aplication from the PMV approval? or you changed a PMV application to a 820 because you got married?

Thank you. I will definitely try that. In the past I have tried to ask questions and provide updates of our relationship via email. And still haven't been contacted ever.

Well, it might work now since most grants for 820 have been around the 12/13 months mark.

Hope you get your grant soon!

Hi guys. Just a quick question. My friend applied online last Nov 15 for 820 and she only receive referral and hap id for medical. Does this apply to the 28 days deadline even though those are just the things she received, because my friend didn't went for the medical.

GRANT NOTICE! :D

Hi guys,

I've been crying with happiness since this morning when I received my grant notice.
Wasn't expecting a grant for another 6 months.

Applied Online, onshore on 26th April 2015.
Granted 21st December 2015, just under 8 months.

So happy. In the words of my partner "It's a Christmas miracle!"

Hoping that means more grants for everyone else!

Do you mean 15th November 2014? If so the medical should have been done, and not doing it will delay the visa. If you mean only last month, then it's probably too early to do it, given visa approval may take more than 12 months, and a medical is only valid for 12 months.

Hi guys,

My wife and I are seriously anxious now waiting for her Visa to be granted.

We applied on 26th July, and we just recently seen changes to the Immi:

Important information

This application will be eligible for consideration for permanent residence 2 years from lodgement (commencement date).

This application has been received by the department and has been placed in a queue. Partner category visa applications are processed in the order of the date on which the application was received (lodgement date). Individual processing times will vary depending on a range of factors.

We haven't received any email/notice from the Officers for more information at this time.

And also tried entering the visa details into the VEVO as someone suggested back on page 191 and cannot login.

My wife is from China.

Thanks for the awesome forum too guys, it's been a great help reading through.

Do you mean 26th July this year? Or 2014?
If it is this year There is nothing you can do to speed up the Process. I applied in January this year and I don't even have a case officer yet, the wait time is up to 16 months so you're in for a long wait. Just be patient, it'll happen eventually.
