I won't be surprised if 801 rises again soon as they seem to quite similar timelines to the 820.
Possible buTTTT I see a 457 change happening and that may reduce work loads?

I do not believe the 820 to 801 has any yearly limits/ planning levels either. I expect the wait time from PMV to 820 and then onto the 801 is more a staffing level. Not a quota issue.

The wait time for PMV to 820 is very variable, possibly dependent on what state or territory you lodge in. Most people on here seem to have them granted within a few weeks to months but ours is coming up to 6 months, as is one other couple's who also applied from Melbourne.

When I rang up Immi to inquire they told me (of course) that there is no difference in the processing times of 820s, whether they are from PMV or not. I do hope it's not true in our case, especially if 820s are now taking up to 19 months to be granted.

Visa Grant Notice

So I have been granted my temporary parntner visa today! I am so excited.

I applied onshore on the 16th of October 2015 and received my visa grant notice today on the 16th of November 2016 so exactly after 13 months.

I applied for a de facto partner visa. I was in a de facto relationship with my partner one year before we applied for the partner visa. I moved to Australia first on the student visa for 6 months to be with my partner. Then from the student visa we applied for the partner visa.

We attached 60 documents to my application and 14 documents to my partner's application. We kept adding documents all the time so they could see that our relationship is real. I made sure to have mine and my partner's police checks always valid. So when the police checks we have attached at the beginning were about to expire I made sure to get new ones from Poland and Australia as soon as possible.

I hope your visas will be granted soon as well guys! Good luck everyone.

If you have any questions about the visa application I am happy to help!

HELLO ALL!
Im applying for PMV 300
Not long time ago I went to NZ for a weekend(2days) and Migration of NZ didn't allow me to enter because 2 days its not holidays.. annyway. MY question is does it mean that I 've been removed, or deported ,or excluded , or asked to leave country?? Or it doesn't mean anything? (I do not need visa to enter to NZ)

Thank you in advance

Perhaps a migration agent can give you a better advice.

Normally airlines will not carry a person without a valid visa, so with the very little useful information you supplied - I assume you had a visa and it was cancelled on arrival.

That is my guess only :- You need the official classification from New Zealand Immigration Department.

Im from Italy so I do not visa to enter to NZ. Migration didn't allow me to enter because I came only for a few days. And after that I had back to australia. from the point of them it wasn't genuine visit. Of course my visa at Melbourne airport was cancelled.
But I don't understand about NZ. It means I was deported or asked to leave or what? Cause now applying for other visa im confused..

I am lost.

Again my guess - I assume it is a Visa On Arrival, this was "refused" in your case as far as NZ is concerned.
Ok THANK YOU.

So should I mention it in the stat dec of relationship. ? (Or write seperate letter)
Should I mention it on visa application? ( there is question about refused visas)
OR just leave it out cause not sure how to establish the fact?

Just read application question in relation to visas very carefully and answer as required. Visas are refused for many reasons, but cancelled visas need extra attention.

I can not remember the questions exact wording - but if it includes "refused" you must answer correctly on application and explain it on separate statement if required.

The question 47sp application: have you ever been refused an entry permit to visa to australia??
The question 80 form: have u ever been refused a visa to any country?

For my understanding I should declare visa refusal only on 80form is tgat right?

So to the question Have you ever been removed, deported or excluded from any country (including Australia) ? Canceled visa is one of these definitions?

Yes you said before your Australian visa was cancelled and requires deporting.

If you know this for fact you must enter correct info if not get your Australian travel history from DIBP.

Refused is they may not believe you so wont take a risk.

Cancelled is they proved you did something wrong (knowingly or not).
