That's actually not generic if they specifically asked for those things. If it was the standard: Please make sure you have uploaded all documents to prove relationship, etc etc etc....then yea, that's generic. But if they sent you something like this, then they are asking for specific documents:

I am not sure. I haven't been assigned a CO yet. And the email I got states that it was not a formal request for further information. That's very confusing. Hell knows what it is I got.

I the email I got, everything they'd asked for we'd already supplied. So I don't see how it could be anything but a generic email.

Plus, saying it's not a formal request puts paid to any custom nature to the email, imo

Did medical without being requested 1st week of may
Additional info requested: 11 may 2017 (requested UK police clearance and proof of relationship lodgement to present)
Submitted everything: 19 may 2017

Not heard anything since..
I never expected to hear anything for at least a year so I wasn't too bothered. However, since the additional info request, I thought it might mean it was going to start moving more quickly, so I'm checking my email about 50 times a day! 😂

After DIAC requested my missing document, my immi account status changed to ''information requested" and then I had to click on the "information provided" button and then my application status changed straight away to "assessment in progress" not sure if this is a new thing or not.

The s56 email is what I received. And as soon as I submitted those documents they requested, I received my grant. The s56 one is the one directly sent from a CO and means they are processing your application. That's great news!!! Hope to see some grants soon!!

Same here. I was prepared for a long wait but they just stirred me up by sending the email. I am chekcing my email and immiaccount insanely everyday.

My medical result was just uploaded today by Bupa. I am wondering if I should reply to the generic email I got to inform them that I have taken action as required... Lol Just feel like doing anything that would help achieve a quicker grant hahaha...
