Let's hope they get to my partners visa application soon then (fully submitted with medical late April)!Immigration have 28 days left to finish of the remainder of the 72,300 Partner Visas allocated in the 2020-21 Migration Program planning levels. The majority of about 75% are expected to be subclass 820s.
How do you know that you haven't been assigned a CO?Hi all
We put in our application July 2022
We have received 2 General Purpose Advice Letters stating the same thing (upload health /police) which we have already done.
But no other news. I'm panicking a bit as it's almost 12 months since we applied and we haven't even been assigned a CO, is this normal?
I am just guessing that CO hasn't been assigned because I read somewhere the CO will usually send an email or a message which I have not received. How do you know that you haven't been assigned a CO?
I am curious as we went through the visas never really knowing who a CO was.
When did you actually apply, and how soon did the request letters come through?
I suggest you read this forum fully. 12 months no contact is normal for some. We were contacted after 22 months. Some get earlier some get later. Depends on nationality and your case as well.I am just guessing that CO hasn't been assigned because I read somewhere the CO will usually send an email or a message which I have not received.
We applied in June 2020 so 12 months ago and received the general-purpose letter in Jan2021. Just getting a bit worried as we haven't heard anything for almost a year now
You and I have a similar timeline we should def keep each other updated. Our application was submitted April 1st 2020 so far no comments/feedback other than when it was requested for additional documentation and medical in March. According to the agent it shows as "Received" now which doesn't say a lot and when you query of course you get the "average processing time is 22-26 months" which doesn't help the stress it puts on people. Even worse when you can't do anything to help.
