Hi,

I was working under a working holiday visa with my employer for 5months before they sponsored me on a 457 for 4years then changing to a 856 visa with the same employer. I received confirmation and approval of my 856, 15mths ago. I have recently resigned from this job due to some issues within the workplace making it an uncomfortable place to be. My resignation was not well received, to say the least, and the employer has made threats towards me which are in the process of negotiation. I did call IMMI and they did say that my resignation had no effect on my residency status as it is down to a contractual agreement however I have since heard otherwise......What I want to know is if the employer can take any action to have my visa revoked???

Any comments much appreciated.
