Hi to anyone reading this post.

I'm 29 years old, and about to graduate at department for Computer Science, Faculty of Electrical Engineering (bachelor degree, 4 years). I have a permanent job in IT (software developer - Java), for past 3-4 years now. Before that I was working on part-time bases, which is the main reason my studies are still in progress, unfortunately. But I'm about to graduate soon and apply for Visa subclass 121 (ENS).

My main dilemma is ACS assessment. Is there gonna be a problem with my diploma and work assessment, since I will be applying for ACS assessment the moment I graduate, and I technically have "no work experience" after obtaining my bachelor diploma. Even do, I was working at software industry all this time (1-2 years part time, and last 3-4 years full time), just the same job and duties I would do if I had that bachelor diploma. References from my employers in the past will not be a problem to get. Will the good resume, detailed descriptions of my jobs, translated diploma and references from my employers do the job to help me get successfully accessed?

Any opinion, advice on this???? Thanks!

I do not know if the ACS site specifies that experience required is to be post qualification but that is the usual intent and you should have a good read of their site information and if in doubt after reading all the info including their FAQ, it'll be best to make a preliminary enquiry with them.

Ok. Thanks for the info. I will do my homework reading info on their website.

In the meantime, if anyone has more information on this, please post here.

By the way, anybody out there that could provide personal experience with ACS assessment process in details and describe us how did it go??? How long do you have to wait for process to end, and what were the documents you provided them???
