Hi All,

Query about ACS Education Credit required.

1. How much credit is required to qualify for ACS GROUP A
2. ACS calculated Credit as (1 credit = 4 hours), am i right...

My Qualification:
BSc [Physics, Mathematics, Computers] --> Full Time (3 Yrs)
1st year Cs total Hrs 150
2nd year Cs total Hrs 180
3rd year Cs total Hrs 270

MCA --> Part Time (2.5 Yrs) [I got exemption for MCA 1 SEMISTER (sem) as I had computers in BSc]

In my transcript that I have received for MCA from University details are:

1 sem --> Exempted as have Computers in BSc
2 sem --> 16 Credits total
3 sem --> 16 Credits total
4 sem --> 16 Credits total
5 sem --> 16 Credits total
6 sem --> 16 Credits total

Total 80 Credits

Also every sem is of 6 Months and has total 800 Marks of Computer education.

PLEASE PLEASE CONFIRM IF MY EDUCATION WOULD SUFFICE FOR GROUP-A

Many Thanks,
SK

That sort of detail is really up to the ACS assessment people.
I do know their web site does indicate that if you do not have the training specifically in the various areas, there is a requirement for so many years of experience.

Mike may know a bit more.
