Appreciate everyone looking out for each other here, and happy to be a new member.

I am planning to apply for skilled immigration but confused whether to apply as an Advertising Manager or a Graphic Designer. Can you please help after looking at my experience? And apologies if my question seems too naive, I did try looking for the dearth of information already available but could not find something matching my query.

Education: Bachelors in Graphic Design

Experience: 10 years (8 years in Graphic Design and 2 years Digital Marketing, with Digital Marketing being the most recent)

Occupation level: Manager since last 05 years but have not directly been managing a team in the org chart

IELTS: 8 score

Age: 32 yrs

Additional Information: I am a widow, with a 03 year old child

Also, I noticed the 189 is not valid for either of these two positions, only 190 is. But how does one get the state nomination?

Looking at skills assessments will be the first step.

With only 2 years of marketing experience you can probably forget about Advertising Manager, as the skills assessments for managers are extremely tough and require many years in a very senior management position.

To be able to apply under state nomination, you need to receive an invitation from one of the states.
