Hi! I'm a Singaporean woman and i have an Australian boyfriend who lives in Adelaide. I'm looking for ways and alternatives to stay for a short term with my boyfriend whenever i can. We have been together for 7 months now and i've known him for 3 years as a friend. We usually do short visits on June and December. He's currently studying his Degree in Uni and does hope for me to stay there with him in tough times.

It would be easy for me to fly there with a ticket and stay with him but it makes it hard when his parent doesn't allow anyone else to live in the house. Example , I'll be flying to him this december and i've paid for the apartment and flight tickets which cost a lot. As i do have enough funds on hand it makes it hard. (excluding the visas and all).

Hope chu guys can help me on my quest and give me some alternatives,advise. Thanks!! :3

Have you done this method before? Renting an apartment while staying in Australia on holidays?

The most i have rented long for would be 2 weeks. As me and my boyfriend lives together in the service apartment. It cost mostly like 2k++ SGD for 2 weeks. It's mostly the cheapest i found among apartments excluding tickets with discount.

I've also looked into small rental rooms from owners but mostly they are unfurnished, cost around 300/wk or they are exclusively for students, lone stays with roommates which do not give/allow a stay or privacy.
