Hello Everyone,

I am in process of preparing affidavits for submitting to ACS under Software Engineer profile.

Now 2 of my affidavits (for my past work exp) have been prepared by my ex-colleague who was at the same position in those companies as mine.
My ex- Supervisors are not in touch with me for a long time so i had to get it signed from my ex-colleague.

My Visa Consultant says that ACS may not approve these affidavits since they want it from your supervisors only. Is that the case? ACS skill assessment guidelines says: "A Statutory Declaration or Affidavit written by a work colleague needs to describe the working relationship with you, the details of the duties you performed and with relevant dates of the employment. It is preferable that the work colleague writing the declaration be at a supervisory level."

So i am little confused. Will they consider my those 2 affidavits as my work-ex or not?

Please suggest.

Thanks.

Maybe.

Whether immi will credit them, even if the ACS does, is another matter.
Thanks for the reply Westly. I was able to catch one of my ex-senior (who was at a higher position) to sign the 2nd affidavit. Now the one which is left is for my first company.

Considering ACS deducts 2 years of exp for fulfilling the suitability criteria, how likely will they accept the first company exp affidavit from one of my ex-senior team member but who was at the same position as mine.

I am just not able to find anyone else at a higher band who can sign it.

Awaiting for the suggestions.

Thanks.

Regards,
Yogjeet
