An Australian and an Austrian walk in to a bar…
… and 2.5 years later, we're beginning the daunting task of bringing that Austrian down under for good!
Myself and my Austrian girlfriend Ina are very happy to have found this community, as we are both feeling quite overwhelmed with the process ahead of us. It's great to have all of your stories and successes to read for support.
We're currently weighing up whether to apply for a partnership visa on-shore or off-shore, and whether to wait until we have been together for 3 years.
For the past ~2 years, we have been traveling the world together. I'm currently writing this from an Airbnb in Sweden — tomorrow we're off to Italy before heading to Innsbruck to stay with her family.
