Looks like we’re in for another name change, as the Immigration Department is being separated from Home Affairs.

Back to DIAC?

Could be worse, department is lands went through 4 name changes in 1 year.

fyi immigration still comes under the control of Home Affairs so no name change or new department will be created

Coleman is the new Minister for Immigration, Citizenship and Multi culture, but he is a junior minister answering to Dutton as Home Affairs Department still encompasses Immigration & Citizenship matters which Dutton is the responsible Cabinet Minister
