Hello!
My partner (British citizen) has recently come to Australia on an e-visitor visa. We plan to lodge our partner visa application shortly. Can someone please confirm if we have to wait until the e-visitor visa expires (in 3 months time) before the Bridging Visa A will come into effect? If so, is there a way we can request the e-visitor visa to be cancelled earlier?

1) Yes
2) No (and if the vistor visa was cancelled, the bridging visa would be cancelled as well)
