Associate Degree

Hi all,

For post-study work stream 485 are listed bachelors, masters and doctoral degrees and excluded diplomas and tradies qualifications on immi websites.

I have just finished Assoc. Degree in electronics as well as Assoc. Degree in electrical engineering which are considered as higher education and academic degrees in Australia. I even had to apply for student visa of higher education and was under the same conditions as bachelor degrees. So my question is would be possible to apply for Post-study work stream 485 if I meet the rest of requirements, please?

I called immi for general enquires. A clerk firstly said that I am eligible. When I asked if he is sure, he said no... :eek:

Could anyone help, please?

Unfortunately for the 485 post-study work stream my understanding is that a bachelors degree (AQF Level 7) at minimum is needed, a standalone diploma or trade qualification - and presumably an associate degree - would mean you are not eligible.
