Hello all,

First of all, I would like to make an overview of my situation. I am doing a master degree that is registered in CRICOS as having the length of 104 weeks (2 years). However, I have the possibility to complete earlier the course, finishing in 18 months.
Now that comes the tricky part, I would like to know if completing my studies earlier I still would be eligible to claim the five points of the Australian study requirements and if that would extend to the 485 visa.

Thank you!

Check regulation 1.15F
Hello!

thank you, but actually I got confused:

(b) that were completed in a total of at least 16 calendar months; and

(c) that were completed as a result of a total of at least 2 academic years study;

Than definition of academic year (regulation 1.03):
That is, 1 academic year is at least a total of 46 weeks, 2
academic years at least a total of 92 weeks

My course has 104 weeks at CRICOS, and I would study for 18 months, but not 92 weeks.

So it is possible to finish earlier or I will not be able to claim my points for migration proposes?
