Hi,

I want to nominate myself (the sponsor) to be the authorised recipient for my wife's partner visa 309 application. Do I need to complete and attached Form 956 or Form 956A?

Thanks

You can't nominate yourself to be the visa applicant's authorised recipient. Your wife would have to nominate you by using form 956 A.

But in the online form, it doesn't indicate my wife need to fill out any Form 956A.
The online form is the electronic equivalent of paper form 956A. You don't have to do both.

My wife is doing an online submission through the Immi Account.

Under Authorised Recipient page, she has filled out my details. Does she still need to attached form 956A when she uploads her documents / evidences?

Thanks

Yes, under this scenario she should add form 956A to the application, the same as migration agents add form 956, even though their details are already in the application form.
