Hi,
Can someone assist with my query. My wife applying for citizenship (AUS) online.

Her birth certificate is standard Indian state birth certificate which has local language (Gujarati) and underneath (English) i.e. on same certificate it is in both language.

For citizenship test, would they still require this document in Translation by NAATI.

Current certificate clearly says in English.
Does anyone have similar experience?

I agree. If the original document already has English on it then a transaltion doesn't make sense. As long as really EVERYTHING (also comments, or things like 'certificate number') are in english as well.

(In Germany you can get German and English birth certificates. For our daughter, I used the English original in the application for citizenship and for her passport and didn't have any problems.)
