Hi everyone,

I am looking for some insightful suggestions as I am quite stressed about my situation.

My husband who is Australian citizen has recently got a great job offer in America and he will start working and living there from this Oct.

I am currently on Prospective marriage visa and will apply for partner visa (820/801) this month.

We are facing the situation that my husband will most likely to work in America for at least 1-2 years while I am on a bridge visa A in Australia.

We just recently got married and don't want to be apart for a long period of time.

What is the possibility for me to get 12 month bridging visa B or even longer?

Is visiting my husband that who will be in America a good reason for the immi to grant me a long BVB?

What implications it may have on my visa application? Will apply for BVB makeS my partner visa taking longer to process?

Anything is possible, it's convincing them that it's warranted.

I wouldn't expect a PMV->820 to take 2 years though..
