Hi,
I was wondering if applying for a bridging B visa increases the processing time for your partner visa once returning to Australia?

My partner applied for her 820 visa in December 2017. In April 2018 I recieved an email requesting a police check, which I promptly provided. In May my partner applied for a bridging B visa in order to attend a wedding. This was granted for 6 months and expires in November 2018. Since then we have not heard anything further from the government. We are travelling again in December and I was worried applying for another bridging visa will push the processing of the visa back further. Is visa 820 processing placed on hold when you apply for a bridging visa?

Thanks
