It is impossible to apply for a bridging visa. You may, if your visa allows, apply for another visa, and if no decision regarding the granting of that new visa is made before your current visa expires a bridging visa will automatically take effect until that decision is made. Do you have any restrictions on your current visa, and which visa will you be applying for?
