I still haven't done my medical as I was told by someone it expires within a year and I don't want to do it now and then it expire and still be on the bridging visa. Is this true or not? I've uploaded most of the documents required but we've had new documents since then and I've only got about 8 uploads of the 60 maximum. And the website always having issues is frustrating so I can't even access it at the moment.

So I applied for my 820 subclass back in March and expected to be on the bridging visa for 12 months. Now I have recently checked and it is now saying 20-25 months. Is there anyway to speed up this process? Has anyone been to the embassy for a interview or does getting married speed this up? Any pointers or advice would be great, we just want to get the ball rolling on this and start applying for mortgages etc.
