Hi all, it would be appreciated if you can give me some advice. I and my family are currently holding the BVA waiting for the Federal Circuit Court result. Is it possible for us to apply a new substantive visa ( like 186 ) without leaving Australia as I do not want my kids leave the school. Can I apply the exemption? How? Many thanks.

This is not a simple question. Presumably you have someone assisting you with the FCC appeal? You should really direct your question to them.

It depends on the visa you want apply for , the conditions of your current bridging visa and whether you are subjecr to section 48.

It may be best to get professional advice, based on your particular circumstances and migration history.
