Hi all,

I applied for my 457 in June, so I'm currently on a BVA.

I'm going for a holiday to Fiji from the 4th of Feb to the 11th of Feb, so I would need a BVB in order to leave and return to Australia.

Would my BVB get rejected if as "purpose of intended travel" I say "family holiday"?

I'm just concerned a family holiday might not be a substantial reason to leave the country, which is a requirement under eligibility for BVB.

If that's not a substantial reason, any advice on what I could say instead?

A family visit is usually good enough. Any special occasions, a birthday, a baptism, an elderly relative you need to see? Just be honest.
