Hi, myself and my fiancé are wishing to start the process of applying for a PMV (300) visa to Australia. He is living in Australia and myself in the U.K. We are thinking of using a migration company/ expert to assist us, but there just seem so many out there!! I was wondering if anyone had any experience with these companies and could give any helpful feedback or recommendations. Thanks

I would suggest one of these as they help many forum members here.

Hi, yes we did manage to find an amazing agent and our Visa was successfully granted on 6th November, taking a little over 4 months to grant from submitting! We used an agent from Visabureau called Jennifer. Just google Visabureau and check them out. We were very impressed with the service they provided and would definitely recommend them!

hi there, first of all congratulations on your visa success, also great for such a fast result.

i am curious, after you asking here for advice on finding an agent, why did you end up going with Visa Bureau? Price, location, ???

Thankyou! We were quite amazed at the quick turnaround and infact our case officer was ready to grant after 3 months but we delayed it ourselves because of work commitments etc...
We chose Visabureau after I carried out a lot of research. My first intention was to go with an agent based in Australia, but after realising that the application is dealt with in London and I was based here in England, it made more sense to find an agent here. Price wise a lot of the agents I contacted quoted similar fees. Visabureau were very relaxed in that they didn’t chase us or hound us for our custom after our initial enquiry. When I spoke with the agent in the phone they were able to answer all of my questions and didn’t charge me for the initial consultation. They were also very honest with us and quoted realistic processing times, compared with the other agents who tried to get our hopes up and quoted us processing times which didn’t match the dept of immigration times. ( They were quite surprised themselves at the fast processing time that we had in the end!!)They were friendly and welcoming of all questions and also talked us clearly through the process and the breakdown of costs. They were never pushy and I liked that. I am really pleased that we decided to go with them because their service was first class. From the first contact to the visa being granted they were there whenever we needed advice or guidance and always returned our calls or emails promptly. They made the application process seem so much more simple than I first imagined. Good luck if you are submitting an application!

I’d like to put it on record that, as far as I am aware,I was never contacted by the previous poster, that I do not hound people or quote unrealistic processing times. After initial inquiries I normally provide a factsheet outing the process and the costs and I may send a follow-up email after that. I always refer to the official DIBP processing times.

I'm quite confident that the previous poster is not referring to any of the agents listed in this post, but her comments about "other agents" could be quite easily be taken out of context.

Hi Tassiegirl.

Just wondering how you were able to go about delaying your grant?

My fiance has work commitments and study exams next year and if we are granted our PMV before that, which is possible, we may have to delay our grant until she is able to move to Australia.

Just wondering how you managed to do this without jeopardising your approval etc?

We only postponed it by a month. Our case officer requested that we change the date of our NOIM, as he was ready to grant, but this would have meant that because we wouldn’t be able to get married until June 2018 due to work commitments, it would leave us with very little time after to sort our next visa, so our agent withheld the new NOIM for a month before submitting it, which enabled us to gain abit more time after the ceremony. The day our agent submitted the NOIM, the case officer granted the visa straight away.
