Hey everyone!
I voluntarily cancelled my visa in 2014, went to NZ to finish my study and now would like to do my masters in Aus. One of the criteria is:

“You might not be eligible for this visa if you have had a visa cancelled or refused while you were in Australia.”
I voluntarily cancelled my visa offshore, so should I be fine? Or does this mean cancelled OR refused while you were in Australia?
Sorry my english comprehension isn’t top notch, I’m a comp science student :(

Pretty sure they mean if they cancelled it, not you.

I've also read that you have 28 days to request the Department to review, if you have had a visa cancelled.

Having a visa cancelled is different to you requesting it is cancelled for genuine reasons.
