Hi ALL,
I'd like to know the range of fees for stuff like certifying a document and making a statutory declaration by an immigration solicitor.

Regards,
Rami

Maybe someone from Egypt might be about if you want to know costs there.

Here in Australia you do not need to go to a solicitor for certifying document copies or statutory declarations.

If you have an original document and you want a copy certified, you can take that to a Justice of Peace or Commissioner of Affidavits and the service for witnessing the original and/or your Statutory Declaration and then they putting a stamp on and signing is free.

Many Post Masters, Bank Managers etc. have qualified/are appointed to do that or usually a Police Station will have a senior officer able to do it also.

If you need a document translated into English, that is something else for you need to get a qualified and registered translator to do it, then you take original, translation and copies to someone for certifying.
