Hello everyone,

Me and my fiance are from India. We've known each other for 22 years and got recently engaged.
He's working in Australia with a PR, whereas I'm currently working in India. My application will be done from outside Australia.
The mode of visa application has not changed to 'only online' because of which we're facing few confusions

1. Do we have to get all our documents certified? If so, from whom?
2. Do we have to get our statements certified? If so, from whom?
3. Since form 888 is not valid for us (friends and family are outside Australia), in what format do we submit these documents? Do we have to get these certified?

Would really really really appreciate any sort of guidance 🙂

3. Yes - They need to be witnessed as they take a copy of the ID - however this is done by the person providing and writing the form 888, not you. Clear instructions are on the form.

Thank you for clarifying that. We got confused because of the booklet.

Since our relationship developed in India, we do not have any Australian citizens or PR holders to fill in 888.

Do you know what's the substitute of 888 for getting statements from Indian/ not-aussie friends or family?
