Unfortunately due to the high level of applicants under 2613xx occupations, you have no chance to receive a 189 invitation with 60 points. You'd need at least 70 and even then you'd likely have to wait a few invitation rounds. A 190 invitation would depend on which state you nominate and even then 65 points may not be successful. Unless you can increase your English score or want to consider a 489 visa, you may struggle to get a visa.
Thanks Maggie for responding to this thread. Can I get a decent job in remote area on 489 visa considering the fact that I have 17 years of Software development experience.
There is very less chances to get nomination, as there are more applications form received by DIBP, scoring good points for getting invitation. However you can increase your immigration points with different sources. You must connect with immigration experts for more information
Applied EOI for 189(60 points) and 190(65 Points) for Victoria. Hoping to get visa in 2018. Would try to increase English score in this period. If nothing works out then would opt for 489 route.. Any suggestions are most welcome from members. I count on experience of forum members.
