Hi everyone
Haven’t been on this forum for a while now
I have started my journey here to get a 309 visa then on my 100 visa. This forum has been there for me throughout that journey
Since then my 2 children have also joined me here and we are all PR and enjoying our lives here.
The next stage for us is to apply for citizenship.
We have met the criteria and I am now looking at the application process and checklists and what documents are needed.
I’m telling you it brings back memories when I was doing the 309/100 visa
So my situation is this me and my daughter 12yrs old will be applying online while my 16yrs old son will have to apply on separate application online on his own.
First of all is this correct?
If someone in here has gone through citizenship journey can we share some thoughts please.
Would like to know how long process is generally and what’s it like in general...

Thanks for your input
I was just thinking that myself about my son
He’s entered Australia Dec 2015 so he won’t be eligible as you said Dec 2019.
I entered Australia with my 309 July 2013, received 100 Dec 2014.
I’ve read the website and they said the new law will start July 2018.
So I was actually going to spend today and gather all the documents they wanted and if I can apply now
I’m kicking myself about my son but if that’s the rule then so be it

How many citizens should I include? 1 person 2 persons
Also when they ask you to list all countries you have been to since you were 18, what if you don’t remember it all especially dates?
Can you write approximate dates?
I am up to that page in the application form..25 more pages to go

Hi everyone just a quick update I’ve submitted the application on 16 may 2018. Received the auto reply of application received or something like that. No news so far. Does it usually take this long for the next response? If they want something else from me do they email me? Or do I hv to keep checking the immi account. I do know tht the process is long so I’m just wondering if what I’m doing is correct and basically I’m just waiting. Thank you !!
