Hi Everyone.
I have question about the character requirement for Australian Citizenship.
I do have a record on my system without any conviction and I was fined by the judge. Does anyone have any similar case or heard something about similar case?
Can someone please help me?

Any update on you application. I don't have a conviction but have a dismissal with guilty under sec 10A. there was an AVO also. Am waiting for approval. How long it took for yours ?

Finally approved!
I was found guilty for aggressive assault my ex-husband.
However, there was no strong evidences from his side, just based on beyond reasonable doubt.
I didn't assault him, he made it up.

Hi, how long it took you for approval after test. Mine is a similar case from 4 yrs back. I have cleared the test already.

i had my interview and test passed in end of august, 22 in parramatta office in sydney and still have not received my aprroval.is there anyone with same condition in parramatta area ? or with the same timeframe and got their approval ?

I had my interview on 17 Oct, still waiting for approval.

Approval meaning you are now a citizen?

Approval means that you will be a citizen after the ceremony, which will take another 3-4 mths.
