I have attended citizenship interview also successfully passed the citizenship test on 2nd March 2022 but I haven’t heard any thing or email from home affairs after that.
All my friends got the approval mail from home affair on their citizenship interview/test day.
Wanted to if anyone is in same boat as me ?

These things can take time for various reasons.

My wife passed her test on 24 Mar 2021.
Approved on 22 Jun 2021. (3 months after test).
Ceremony on 18 Nov 2021. (8 months after test).

Irony is my friend gave his test today morning and he got approval mail instantly.

Some do get it instantly, but others take a bit, or a lot, longer for some final checks. Some might depend on the location of the test. Many variables in these processes.

This is the same situation as mine. Do you have any update about it? I have passed my test last 14June2022, but haven't received any email confirmation like my friends.

Hi, just wanted to check if your application got approved? If yes, do you mind telling us how much time it took? My wife passed her citizenship test 3 weeks ago but we haven’t heard back anything. Curious to know why the delay in approving the process now?

Hi I did my citizenship test on the 12th of July and it didn't get approved straight away too. Hopefully we can hear back soon. The waiting game is not fun. There are so many applicants whose application got approved straight after the test. Guess we are not the lucky ones.

Just an update, my wife application was finally approved on 07/07. Roughly took a month from giving the test to her approval.

My wife gave exam on 9th august haven’t got approved yet they must push quicker everyone is waiting

I got my approval letter straight away after my test. The lady took care of my application said since my “police check is clear and nothing else they need to check, you would receive the approval letter in minutes”. I think it depends on how the interview person handle your application at the interview stage.

I took my test (regional NSW) 15-Sep-2022 and received my approval letter via email 22-Oct-2022. American.

Hi,
My appointment was today at 12:00. I showed up at 11:40 and got attended straight away by a lovely immigration officer.
She congratulated me on the way my documents were presented in my application. She went through it all and was satisfied with it as apparently nothing was missing...
I went for the test and passed.
I was out of the building at 12:09!
And I received my notification of approval of citizenship at 13:10.
I did my 820/801 and my citizenship application all by myself. No migration agent nor immigration lawyer. The trick is to upload all requested documents in clear PDFs.
I started the process of 820/801 in October 2018 so I'm very pleased with the outcome.
Last thing is the citizenship ceremony but the scary wait is over!!!

Yes, as I said, I got the email with the approval 1hour after I left the immigration building!
