I have attended citizenship interview also successfully passed the citizenship test on nov 22 2022 but I haven’t heard any thing or email from home affairs after that.does this thing happen oftentimes. Coz my friends get it in the same day of the test. Is it coz I took my test 5 months after submitting my application?

I am in the same boat of ppl waiting for the approval after passing the test .
My wife and I gave the interview on same day i.e. 14 Dec in Melbourne . She received her approval within 2 hours while i am still waiting for it . We both were interviewed by different immigration officers on day of the test/interview .
Has any of the waiting cases from above received the approval ?

I think it maybe the police check that makes the difference. My wife and I attend the test today(Melbourne). She got her approval almost instantly after the test. But I did not. I remember there is a part in the application that asks for the number of days you are not in Australia after you got your PR. If that number excees 180 in one country, you may need a police check from that country. The number in my application excees 180days, but it was less than 180 in her application.

I passed the test last 06 January 2023 and the interviewer said I will get an email from them by the end of the day but until now I still haven't heard back from them. Its good to know that I'm not alone in this waiting game. I was already thinking of contacting them or sending an email.

Hi, yes I have received mine last 27 January 2023. I am still waiting for my ceremony schedule up until now.
