Hi guys,
I have just received the following email after re-submitting my requested documents:

“Deal client.
If we require more information we will contact you by phone, email or postal mail. If a decision is made on your application we will contact you by email or postal mail”


It was sent by someone else from the Jakarta office..... Has anyone else received this email and why was it not sent from my case officer? Bit confused by this

You're case officer doesn't necessarily deal with all aspects of your application.

Yes I know of people that have had multiple requests for further information after providing further information. They also received a visit from the department.

Oh ok here's me thinking that was great news that I only had to add my medical and police clearances

I guess if they wanted to ask for more documents in relation to the different aspects they would've done so whilst asking for my police & medical but who knows we'll see what happens *praying

The instance I was talking about was asking for other documents then a visit because they weren't convinced by the documents and then a request for further info on the nature of the household. It resulted in a grant but was stressful for them.

Yes, they've asked for info after asking for info before.

You don't just have one CO. Anyone can pick up your app so it is not uncommon to have two or more dealing with you. I had 2 for my 300 and only the one for my 820 that I was aware of as that went straight to grant.

Still sooooo scared incase they try to grant it when I'm over seas ahhhh

They won't grant it while you're overseas. They probably won't even contact you about coming back if your itinerary shows it's only a two week trip.

It could be because of that or it could be a harmless reason and as they were finalizing they realized something was missed.

Don't try and analyze every thing. Just wait and see what happens and respond accordingly.
