Hey everyone,
As my partner and I are (still) finalizing our application, we noticed (on the paper copy of the application, mind you) that it says I need to include my marriage certificate from my previous marriage. Is that true? It's not hard for me to obtain, but do I actually need to provide this?
I have our separation agreement (documents signed and dated by my ex-wife and I, dividing custody of the children, detailing the end of the marriage) and was going to include that. However, I was considering holding off as my divorce should actually be finalized any day now and would just include my divorce certificate.
I know paper applications are a thing of the past, we were just using it as a reference point for when we do fill out the application online
Has anyone here applied for a partner visa while separated or divorced from their ex-spouse? What did you include?
Thanks everyone.
