You inform Immigration of the change of circumstances through ImmiAccount or by using form 1022. No point calling them up. They won't expedite your application, because you had a baby. You just have to wait in the queue like everybody else. Stage 2 processing can take up to 24 months.

Hi everyone
I'm wondering what is the email for me to contact DIBP to politely push for a case manager to look at my 801 visa application?
I've lodge the 801 in November 2018 and have since given birth. I'm hoping that I could email DIBP to inform them of this change in circumstance and perhaps get them to have a look at my application.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Additional advice required for obtaining proof of citizenship for my child:

Just upload the child's birth certificate if born in Australia.

Apparently proof of citizenship document is required, which needs to be applied for.

Tip both parents need to sign for the passport application unless there is a legal exemption.
But I do believe that the proof of citizenship is required for the passport application, and in almost all cases in Australia "a legal guardian" can apply on behalf of a minor and in some cases both are required to sign/give consent.

If your husband is born in australia that would be enough proof to use that your child is an australian citizenship which you would not need to get evidence of citizenship from DIBP. As a temporary resident (on 820 visa), do I have the ability/rights to apply for proof of citizenship for my child using my immi account.
No because it hasn't been applied for as a citizen by decent. You would need to go through the states birth, death and marriages office.

I have a complicated situation tho. Maybe you can help about it. My daughter is an Australian citizenship by descent born overseas and I was thinking to apply her Australian passport because we live in Australia but in her overseas birth certificate,there is no father name since I'm not married to my ex partner. If the parent was born on or after 20 Aug 1986, their Australian birth certificate doesn't prove citizenship, only that they were born here. So that parent would then need proof they were Australian citizens or PR at the time of their child's birth to then prove the child is a citizen.
