hi,
just new to this group so give me a chance to see how it works:)

currently on a holiday visa, and been in a relationship with my girlfriend from Australia for two years..

just a couple questions.. we both moved back to scotland as my visa ran out, we stayed with family for 6 months.. but obviously won't have bills from it, how can you get proof?

another question is the medical... little bit embarrsing but i have these small lumps called "Lipomas" on my side and one or two on my arm, they're just fatty lumps, would there be any issue with them with the medical? how thorough are they?

Thanks for your time:)

Statements from your parents, mail to the address, doctors registration showing your address etc etc.

The medical is to see if you are a risk to Australia either through illness that can be passed on or financial cost/use of your illness being a burden on the system.

If they are benign fatty lumps that can't be shared and won't have a medical cost or use a medical service that's in short supply then they won't be an issue.

If they can be passed on, if they are rare and will require some kind of crazy specialist treatment or will cost more than $40,000 over 5 years to treat then you may be in for a rougher ride.

You are basically looking for as many documents from as many sources over the date range at the property with addresses and registrations.

Yeah... we've done travelling in that time, and we have bills for the next 3 months and ones before.

Some of the things they ask are silly. Have you ever heard of people getting defacto rejected?

The things they ask may be silly but every question has a purpose and needs to be addressed seriously. Yes we see and hear of a lot of defacto visas being rejected, it is also expected that we will see more rejections as Immigration are and have been focusing more and more on the quality of evidence in applications due to the number of bogus applicants in time gone by.

Depending on the quantity & quality of evidence you have and your skills in putting it together you may wish to consider help.

The value of registerd migration agents to assist is getting ever higher as the policy's and procedures of immigration get stricter - I would (and did) consider taking this route if you are worried about insubstantial evidence or a complex case.

I have enough evidence to prove my relationship. Since we've been together for 2 years and we've lived and travelled together. Recepts to pics etc etc. I'd love to get help from migrant, but I have limited cash flow, I'm only on a holiday visa, with price of living and this defecto cost. I have friends that have done it so can Aquire help from
Them if need be, but thanks.
