Hey guys my Partner Visa got declined (not surprised as it was expected since we aren't together anymore) but I have a few questions since It got declined while I am back in the US.

I am currently on a Bridging Visa B and they said it will expire 35 Calendar days after they made the decision. Does that mean I'm allowed to go back and forth to Australia within that time period? just want to double check and make sure

Once I am back in the States before the 35 day period expires can I just apply for a regular visitor visa so I can come and see friends or is there some kind of cooldown period after you get declined for a partner visa?

thank you

There’s no guarantee they’ll let you re-enter on a BVB. Future applications will be decided on their merit. As long as you are not subject to any exclusion periods, there is no cooling off period as such.
