Hello All,

Currently applying for Offshore Defacto 309 in New Zealand. Have been phoning Auckland Offices for weeks now, with nothing but busy lines, leaving voicemails with no reply at all. Seeing as this has hit a dead end it seems, I wondered if anybody can advise whether its compulsory to mention my partner's (sponsor) children he had from a previous relationship? We are not married, so I am not a 'Step Mother' as such. Their biological mother will still have 80% care with the children staying with us once a fortnight. Wondered if its mandatory that I mention them in the application or whether they have nothing to do with it?

Of course I love these kids as my own and have no problem outlining our relationship! Just wondered if it is completely necessary. Also whether anybody else has been having problems getting through to the Auckland office?!

Thank you.
