Hello folks Have applied my visa in last July (2014). Few months ago we had an update and after that nothing came up.
The Update was that your case have been allocated to an officer.

Now, my student visa is about to finish in 30th august 2015 and I am here shaking and getting fever on a tension of outcome. Don't know why it took so long and what will be the outcome.

-In case, if an outcome is negative what is the best thing I can do?

On shore partner visas typically take 12-15 months so you're still within that time frame. Hopefully you'll ear something within the next few months.

Like Maggie May said, the time frame for processing Visa is very long at the moment.
Good news about the CO, but all you can do is sit tight and wait
