Hi all,

My partner was granted a 309/100 visa on 25 May 2016 (coming up to 2 years)

We are seeing mixed message online about submitting new evidence or not? The Home Affairs website says you may not need to submit new evidence if you were in a long term relationship prior to the original application? (We have been married for 6 years now)

Do we need to submit a Stage 2 application?

Thank you in advance for your help!! :)

The long term relationship criteria is something that would have waived the two year waiting period and you would have received the 309 and 100 at the same time. If only the 309 was granted, then you have to wait the two years and upload additional documents at the 100 eligibility stage.

If only the sc. 309 visa was granted, you need to provide additional documentation 2 years after the original application was lodged.

Hi all,

Thank you for the speedy reply! Much apprciated.

The details on the visa grant notifcation are:

Visa Class: Partner (Provisional) (class UF)
Visa Subclass: Partner (Provisional) (subclass 309)

Looks like we need to apply for the 100 ??

Thanks!

You have already applied and paid for the sc. 100 visa. You just need to provide additional information to show that the relationship is still ongoing.
