Hello! I'm new to this forum and I hope to be helpful to others as they go through their immigration process.

My question is regarding whether upon making my first entry into Australia I need to bring my husband who sponsored me. Everything I have read has said that everyone must attend that was included on the application, which I understand is likely referring to any children/dependents. I just want to triple make sure that this doesn't also extend to the sponsor because I am neurotic.

For clarification, I was granted a PARTNER (MIGRANT) (Class BC) PARTNER (Subclass 100). We live in Canada at the moment and I am planning on popping into Australia per the first entry requirements, but my husband may have to work.

Thank you

I have never heard of the sponsor being required to be present during first entry, so you should be fine.

You have been granted a 100 visa, so you are a permanent resident now. After your initial entry make sure not to forget to get your RRV sorted if you ever leave the Australia to go overseas again.

Nope. And you have unlimited travel for the first 5 years after your 100 grant so you don't have to worry about getting another 5 year RRV until later on.
