My partner and I applied for a 189 PR visa last month. I have a student visa expiring in Aug 2018, but I completed my study in Nov 2017 (early gratulation). I will not study in the coming 6 months.
My bridging A visa will not be effective until Aug 2018 (student visa expiry date).
Can I still stay in Australia with my student visa?
If I can stay, can I work for more than 40 hours fortnightly during this period of time?
Can I travel in and out Australia?

Yes, you can stay in Australia and work full time.
Hi Jeremy,
Thanks for your advice.

I still have some confusion.

There is a notice in the Immigration Department website, saying the following:

We consider your course to be 'in session':
if you have completed your studies and your Confirmation of Enrolment is still valid (with the exception of masters by research or PhD students who have submitted their thesis for marking)

Am I considered as the one mentioned above? Or I am considered as complete studies and COE is not valid?
