Employment history after ACS

Hello everyone,

I have one question... hopefully u can help me.

When I applied to the skill assessment they deducted 2 years from my first job.

My first job (same position, same location) was:
Jul 2008 - Oct 2010

ACS said that anything after Jul 2010 was Ok for points

When I applied to the EOI, on the first job I entered:
Aug 2010 - Oct 2010 (relevant)
As it was what the ACS said was ok for points.
Didn't enter anything before that.

Now I received the invitation, and I don't really know what to keep in the employment history for the visa application. If I enter Aug 2010 - Oct 2010, same as EOI, the letter from my previous job will say that I started there from July 2008.

If I add a previous job entry (splitting my first job) with the same information, but from July 2008 to July 2010 (not claiming points), now It will be different from the EOI, the visa application will have an additional entry.

What should I do?

thanks!

Hi doorstep

Until you get an answer for your question which i am interested as well to know , i have a question related to your case, which apparently you already did.
my statement in acs says
The following employment after May 2010 is considered to equate to work at an appropriately skilled
level

but in EOI i added my real employment history which is may 2008.
shall i change now to May 2010 as per the assessment?
knowing that both dates will not affect my points, as i have to date same experience which is 10 years.
after asking a lot of people, now I know the answer this is how it is done:

Basically, split that job into 2, the part that ACS took will be NOT relevant i.e. don't tick the relevant for points box. Same thing when you get the invitation, leave it as NOT Relevant for points.

may 2008 - may2010 NOT Relevant for points
April 2010 - end date Relevant for points

Since ACS took until May, you have to start from 1st of April to consider it relevant.

regards!
