Hi,
As the rules are changing from 1/3/2018, I am planning to apply for PR before 1st 2018.
Please let us know if things are in place of me or not.

Occupation - Health Information Manager
Skill Assessment - In Progress (Priority) - result awaiting (25th Jan)
Nomination - To be files by the employer by 22nd Jan.
PTE - Test is scheduled on 22nd Jan. require 50 in each components.

My main question is, Can we apply for VISA with Employer just nominating me under that occupation ? I am not sure if nomination will get approved by 1st March 2018. Do we need to wait for nomination to be approved before we actually apply for PR ?

Or

Can we just apply with Nomination reference number (even if it is not approved yet) and apply for VISA before 1st March 2018 ?

Thanks,
Harsh

The nomination doesn't need to be approved, simply submitted in order for you to submit your application. Of course that means there's some risk in case the nomination is refused, but if it's your only option to apply for a PR visa it may be a risk worth taking. Are you and your employer working with a migration agent?
