Hi all,

I lodged an expression of interest last week however my IELTS test result is expiring this week. (Took the test almost 3 years ago) Unfortunately I have a back injury that makes it pretty much impossible to sit for a long test until i recover. I have two questions

- because the ielts was valid at the time of lodging the EOI, even though it’s expiring soon, is it still considered valid?

-if not, how would I go about contacting the government for an exemption/extension? I can provide multiple medical certificates to support my claim

my visa is expiring later this year so I very much want to stay in the running but this injury couldn’t have come at a worse time…

An English test score needs to be current at the time you are invited to apply for a visa, not just when you lodge an EOI.
